True Cross Platform.

Retail stores are complex, varied environments, often with technical controls around network connectivity and skilled staff. Storeplay needed a solution that can play curated music non-stop, sometimes for up to 16 hours, that is stable, adaptable and incredibly easy to use.
The Storeplay music player app is a truly cross-platform app with versions available for iOS and Android mobile devices (phones and tablets), native Windows and Mac apps which can be installed onto retail POS systems, a headless system running on custom plug-and-play hardware and even a SONOS version.
Storeplay clients have extensive customisation options, from centrally controlled scheduled playlists, cross-fade and dynamic compression, to client-specific audio ads interleaved between songs.
The StorePlayer is a customised, plug-and-play audio hardware system.

The Long Haul.

We Make Apps have been developing the technology for the Storeplay system from its inception in early 2012.
Over the course of the last 12 years, We Make Apps have developed ever layer and component of the solution, from player apps, client and superuser web consoles, marketing sites, a native music-management Mac app and a complex AWS infrastructure environment optimised for the ingestion, transcoding and serving of large quantities of audio files.
We take great pride in the products we build and work closely with our clients to help realise their vision.
